Bottled only in vintages deemed to be up to par, Pietramora collects the best of Sangiovese produced in our vineyards, now all trained in sapling with high density vineyards. Among the red wines, Pietramora is therefore the wine that is most dear to us and that more than any other reflects – and we want it to be so – the character of the vintage: austere tannins of 1995 and 1998, opulent alcohol content of 2000, irreproachable completeness of 2001 and 2011, exuberant fruit of 2012, great classicism of 2015.

A touch of ancellotta, never more than 3%, completes the final cut almost every year.

Starting from the 2011 harvest, its denomination shows on the label the name of the sub-area it belongs to, that of Marzeno, as per amendments to the reference disciplinary.
