This Franciacorta is energetic and personal, deriving character and colour from the specific virtues of pinot noir. In the glass it has a brilliant copper colour. It has a deep and complex bouquet, with berry, floral notes, nuances reminiscent of caper flowers, and with delicate spices. Full and strong palate, with a crisp taste, denoting the clear and consistent presence of pinot noir, with tangs of clove, and hints of liquorice, and a balanced almond milk finish. Soft in the mouth, but not sweet, it has a fresh pleasant flavour. The finish is long and dense.
