This vine is demanding and prefers places exposed to the sun and arid soils, partly composed of slate, in high areas above Merano and in Val Venosta. Only a few grapes from selected vineyards are able to meet the high quality requirements of the cellar master. The production of this dry and exclusive wine takes place in a very delicate way through the pressing of the whole grapes and the subsequent spontaneous fermentation.
